Born and raised in Virginia, Dr. Bellows fell in love with Alaska while doing seabird research for the Fish and Wildlife Service and now lives in the Mat-Su Valley with her dogs Queen and Coho, cat Delores, leopard gecko, and a brood of sassy hens. She graduated from Clemson University with a major in Biology (GO TIGERS!) and then attended the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with her DVM in 2013. Her professional interests include exotic pets like birds, reptiles, and small mammals, animal behavior, and surgery. Dr. Bellows has always dreamed of opening her own practice and is very happy to offer urgent care services in a calm comfortable environment.
